It's #militarytransition Tuesday! Recently retired It's #militarytransition Tuesday! Recently retired veteran #GreenBeret James Mayernik served distinguishably during his 27-year career. He is currently in a program manager role supporting the @usairforce Armament Directorate at Eglin AFB, FL, with the HX5 Corporation.
James spent 23-years in Special Operations, with most of that time in the @7thspecialforcesgroup located at Ft. Bragg, NC, and Eglin AFB, FL. He deployed numerous times throughout South America to strengthen strategic relationships with our allies and in support of protecting the U.S. Southern borders. Moreover, he served multiple times in the Operation Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan) mission, where he was wounded in combat.
"During my last year of active duty, I became part of the @specopstf (SOTF). The organization guided me in the area I struggled with most, taking my military skillsets and demonstrating how those experiences are relevant to the job market. The year-long program began with identifying my personality type, strengths, weaknesses, and the type of working environment that I would thrive most. The tailored individual counseling and interview practice sessions were critical to my transition success. In addition, the SOTF events brought real-world engagements with business professionals and the opportunity for me to employ these new skillsets.", says James.
James is looking forward to joining the growing ranks of SOTF Alumni and giving back to future Special Operations veterans in transition.
Please help us in congratulating James!

It's #militarytransition Tuesday! Dalton Daly enli It's #militarytransition Tuesday! Dalton Daly enlisted in the @usarmy weeks after he graduated from @rutgersu with a bachelor’s degree in Economics in 2017. From there he served as an infantryman in the 3rd Ranger Battalion, @75tharmyrangers Regiment; where he would later deploy to Afghanistan, Iraq, and Syria.
He enjoyed the competitive nature of his unit, as it was made up of all volunteers yet held the highest standards in the Army for its members. This continuous goal of bettering himself led him to his application and acceptance into the Special Operators Transition Foundation.
"As I transitioned out of the military over the past year, I worked hard with the @specopstf. The biggest tool that SOTF has offered me was the undivided attention from the personal mentors for each phase of the process. They truly care about each individual operator’s success.”, said Dalton. Shortly after his final day of Active-Duty service, Dalton accepted the position of Regional Manager at @curativeinc in Chicago, IL. This healthcare company has placed a large emphasis on software superiority, creating the challenging and kinetic work environment that Dalton was seeking after leaving the military.
Please help us in thanking Dalton for his service to our great Nation and congratulating him on his transition to the private sector.

On March 17, 2022, we conducted a Veteran's transi On March 17, 2022, we conducted a Veteran's transition workshop in Nashville. For the Special Operators, the workshop was intended to help them translate their #military experience into terms that align to businesses core competencies. Once #veterans understand how to make these correlations, they can begin to gain positive traction in informational conversations and job interviews.
To showcase the #Nashville community and provide a space for these conversations, SOTF had great patriots from a variety of industries, and employers to speak to the Special Operations Veterans who want to settle in Nashville.
SOTF CEO Tommy Stoner says, “Businesses are struggling to find talent in the midst of the Great Resignation. Through events like this, we help Special Operators learn more about opportunities in the Nashville area.”
